About Ms. Whorf

 

I am so excited to be teaching Second Grade at RLOA. We have been working so hard to prepare a wonderful school year for our students. I am originally from Michigan and attended Michigan State University graduating with a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Language Arts and Fine Arts. After too many years of shoveling snow, my husband and I moved to Hardeeville. We built our dream home and moved in November 2021. We enjoy the outdoors every chance we get and make special trips to the beaches.

7:45-8:00       Homeroom/Morning Work

8:00-10:00     Reading/Language Arts/Groups/IReady Reading

10:00-10:45   Science or Social Studies (rotates every two weeks)

10:45-11:15    Lunch

11:20-12:00    Recess/Restroom Break

12:00-1:15     Math

1:15-2:10       Related Arts (Monday/Tuesday Gym; Wednesday Thursday Music or Art)

2:15-2:45       Restroom Break Iready Math

2:45-3:00       Wrap Up Meeting/Clean Up

3:15-3:45       Dismissal
