About Kadene Witter-Headley

Dear parents/guardians,

Happy new school year! I am Mrs. Headley, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher for their 3rd grade year. I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventures with them! 

I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. This is my 18th year as an educator, the last four of which I have been a 3rd grade teacher. I am blessed to be doing what I am passionate about! 

I enjoy helping students, as they explore and discover new information through the different subject areas; using their experiences and prior knowledge. I also enjoy guiding them through researches, watching them transfer their knowledge, and being successful; showing them that they are life-long learners and helping them reach their full potential. These will be achieved in an interactive, child-centered, print-rich environment.

The students will be guided by the motto: “Never settle for less than your best”

This will be a fulfilling year! Together, we will help the children grow and develop into great leaders.
