  Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year! Our classroom will be an exciting environment where we will grow, explore, and learn together! Young children learn best by doing so there will be lots of hands-on learning taking place every day!

  I am originally from Hardeeville and have enjoyed teaching here in the town throughout my teaching career. This is my 27th year as an Early Childhood teacher and am so honored to be teaching here at Royal Live Oaks. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the College of Charleston, and a Master's Degree from Georgia Southern University. I have three children: identical twin boys Jacob and Jaydon and a daughter, Olivia. Jacob and Jaydon both graduated from college Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University and LaGrange College. Jacob works at a French based chemical company, SNF and Jaydon is in law school at the University of SC. Olivia is a freshman at the University of Georgia.  I also have three rescued dogs: Emi( a miniature poodle, Greta, and Bowen (German Shepherds), that I enjoy spending time with. 

  I am looking forward to working with you to help your child be successful. Learning is a beautiful partnership between students, teachers, and families.
