Welcome to Mrs. Heightland's ML Class!

My name is Leyla Heightland! I am very excited to be working with some of the ML students in the High School this school year.

A little bit about myself...I was born in San Luis Potosi Mexico and moved to the United States at the age of 15.I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I have been teaching for 10 years and I have experience working with students in grades Pre-K-9th . I have worked in both private and public sectors.

I have one son who attends RLACS. I enjoy drinking tea, reading , cooking  and tending to both my farm animals and pets. 

It will be an amazing school year!
