Welcome to Mrs. Fulton's Math Class

Greetings,

I am Mrs. Jacqui Fulton, and I will be your Math teacher this year. I look forward to us having a terrific year as we delve into the world of Algebra and Geometry. I have worked in the field of Education teaching Mathematics courses for over 40 years. I have also assisted in education as a guidance counselor, a department chairperson, and even as an assistant principal.

I am from Virginia. I received my BS degree in Mathematics from Virginia State University. I began teaching in Greenville, SC, and while there, I earned my Masters of Mathematics Education degree from Clemson University. When we moved to North Carolina, I taught middle school 8th-grade mathematics for a while, then switched back to teaching my favorite high school course, Geometry. I furthered my education at UCLA in California and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and did Educational Leadership through a program at Harvard University.

I am a teacher because I believe "knowledge is power". I love Math! I believe we all need to understand how mathematical reasoning and thinking help us in our daily lives.

We need to come into our Math class with a positive mindset and an eagerness to learn.
