Amanda Gunderson Reading Coach

Welcome Royal Knights and families! My name is Amanda Gunderson and I am the elementary school Reading Coach. I am originally from Savannah, Ga. I have two beautiful children, Amelia (18) and Scott (14). I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, and shopping.

I have been a Royal Knight for 11 years and an educator for 16 years. I have experience teaching preschool, pre-kindergarten,  kindergarten, and 2nd grade. I have also worked as a math specialist and a reading interventionist. This is the 6th I have served as Reading Coach for RLOA. I love helping children discover the joys of reading and working with teachers to provide instruction that is appropriate and caters to each student's individual need.
