Important Information

Here are a few pieces of information that you may want to keep handy for this school year.


  • Students can enter the building beginning at 7:00, breakfast will be served at that time.
  • School (Instruction) begins at 7:45 am. Breakfast is served until 7:40 am. 
  • If your child arrives to the classroom, not the parking lot, after 7:45 am they will be marked tardy.
  • Dismissal is at 3:15 pm Monday-Thursday and 12:00 on Friday. Students must all be picked up by 3:45 pm Monday-Thursday and 12:30 on Friday. If you are unable to pick your child up by these times, fees may be implemented. Please enroll your child in the YMCA if you are not able to meet these times.
  • Students arriving late or being picked up early will miss out on important instruction needed for their success.
  • All students will be given breakfast and lunch for free each day.
  • Students must dress in school uniforms Monday-Thursday. On Fridays students are able to wear jeans for a fee of $2.00. The jeans should not have any holes, not rips, and no tears. If your child is not wearing jeans and paying $2.00, they will need to dressed in school uniforms.
  • The colors of uniform shirts are black, white, purple, green and gray. Jackets, coats, and sweatshirts must be in one of the uniform colors. 
  • Uniform bottoms must be black or khaki.
  • Please make sure that your child’s teacher has updated phone numbers and email addresses for open communication. Please do not block the school’s number for emergency purposes.

Welcome!

Ms.Wigfall is a native Jasper County resident, raised in Hardeeville, SC. She has many family members who are educators. Before getting into education herself, she worked for the Hardeeville Police Department and the Department of Juvenile Justice. Seeing children who needed to be reached before they went down the wrong path, Ms. Wigfall decided to go into education. Ms. Wigfall has a Bachelor’s of Science in Sociology from the University of South Carolina, Teaching Certification from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Masters in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, and is currently a Doctoral Student at Grand Canyon University. Ms. Wigfall has two beautiful daughters and one adorable granddaughter. 


Ms. Wigfall joined Royal Live Oaks Academy in 2019 and has served in many capacities. She has taught math in the high school, worked with the aftercare program and has been a math coach. Before coming to Royal Live Oaks Academy Ms. Wigfall educated students in Jasper County for over 18 years. 


This is Ms. Wigfall’s seventh year as Principal of Elementary. Ms. Wigfall believes that Royal Live Oaks is changing the face of learning and has seen teachers and students flourish under her leadership. She also sees the progress being made to establish an outstanding learning program filled with rigor and student engagement. She plans to build on this level of teacher effectiveness and student engagement.
